Plan 8 is a new vibrant Architectural Practice. Formed in May 2015 this new modern practice presents a new alternative approach in an industry that is reawakening.
Led by 3 talented professionals, with infinite years of combined experience, we evaluate our client’s needs by delivering designs that are both dynamic and cost effective.
Our designs, with the use of varying materials, provide spatial qualities that reflect and are sensitive to the surrounding landscape. This together with communicating with our clients and meeting their requirements are paramount at Plan8.

Graduated (BArch Sc. Dip. Arch. Hons.) from Dublin Institute of Technology, Bolton Street, in 2001..
Professional Practice Part III exams 2003.
Working in the public sector with the Office of Public Works, Aifric worked on the Eileen Grey Exhibition for Collins Barracks National Museum of Ireland, and the Gardeners Facilities in St Stephens Green.
In the private sector, with Murray O’Laoire Architects, Aifric was project architect on renovation and redevelopment works in Belvedere College secondary school in Dublin and involved in the development of a masterplan for Leinster House and government buildings
Aifric has a broad scope of experience from brief development to planning, master planning and construction, with projects ranging from domestic extensions to multi-building proposals.

Bernard provides a broad range of skills, negotiating all aspects of planning from concept stage to completion of projects on site such as housing, commercial, educational, public & private partnership, sporting, & government department schemes.
Bernard also has the vision & foresight to see the potential of sites that can suit individual clients
Bernard has 33 years experience, working in London, Manchester & throughout Ireland.
Graduated (Arch. Dip. – Hons.) from Waterford Institute of Technology in 1998.
A Brief overview of Previous Projects involvement include, Eden Gate Housing development, Woodstock Housing Scheme, Revenue Commissioners New Central Offices and Fit-out, An Post Sorting Offices, Refurbishments of Bray Urban District Properties to mention but a few.
Graham is enthusiastic, organised and decisive with over 20 year’s technical experience within the industry.
